Samsung PN 50A550 is a 50”, flat panel, plasma TV with advanced HDMI 1.3 Color technology that provides a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The speaker bar hidden beneath the screen adds to the sleek look of the TV.  DNIe technology helps enhance the quality of images. In addition, the anti-reflective screen – called FilterBright – helps avoid the glare of ambient light.

The Samsung PN 50A550 is almost resistant to image retention. However, in case of minor image retention, you can easily remove the burnt-in images using the pixel shift option or the All White or Scrolling functions. The video and audio quality of this TV is exceptionally vibrant and realistic due to the 5-color temperature presets, a film mode enabling 2:3 pulldown and 3 modes of noise reduction.
